Spring! Spring! Sprong!

This past weekend foster mom decided to get us a couple of new toys.  One was a mouse that actually squeaks when you touch it.  What fun we had throwing it around!  Gizmo was very proud of his prize and was seen carrying it around in his mouth.  The other toy was actually the best.  It was plastic springs!  Boy can they fly across the floor!!!!  It sucks though, when they end up under the couches.  Foster mom needs to rescue some of them so we can play some more.

They are also fun to toss down the stairs.  Rebel was flying through the air after one he was chasing down the stairs.  They are the best present in the whole wide world.  I wonder what foster mom will find for us this weekend....

How to tire out a cat...

Step 1.  Sprinkle psycho kitty treats (catnip) on some toys.
Step 2.  Go to bed for the night.
Step 3.  Wake up to exhausted and hungry cats in the morning!

Our new blog spot!

Since it is hard to share a blog with two very active dogs, Riki and Rebel have decided to strike out on their own!  They will try their best to keep this blog up to date but you must realize, they are very busy cats!  Playing, eating and sleeping the days away!

Riki and Rebel are fluffy black cats from Street Cat Rescue in Saskatoon.  We are looking for their furever home!  Riki and Rebel have picked a few purfect places to sleep in the new house.

Sometimes Rebel decides to join us for supper.  He will sit on a chair watching us eat.

You no see me!
Riki and Rebel are very playful cats.  They have exploded out of their shell over the past year.  Riki will come running in the morning for scratchies and always rewards me with purring.  His motor is strong and quick to start. Taz, one of the resident dogs, can be quite persistant at chasing all the cats.  Rebel has learned how to fend off Taz but has learnt that Pepper is the leader of all animals in the house.

Hardwood floors are for fun!  Often times when the humans are watching televisions downstairs, Riki, Rebel and Gizmo can be heard running around upstairs.  Toys fly faster on hardwood floors than carpet!!!  They are definitely more fun to bat around.

Well enough blogging for now!  We promise to write more and take more pictures!
